Willowbrook Country Club: New Membership Drive

Business Objectives: In the spring of 2009 Willowbrook Country Club contracted with msl Direct Inc to aggressively grow their membership base.

  • MSL instituted their new multi-touch campaign for B2C (Business to consumer).
  • A series of 3 mailings with 3 versions ( a unique picture of one of the clubs 3 signature hole’s) was used
  • Began the first week in March mailing out to a very targeted list of 5,000 and repeated 2 more times spacing each mailing 2 weeks apart.
  • 3 follow up E-marketing campaigns were launched to 25,000 people, saturating an area encompassing 20 miles around of the golf club.

The results were an increase in membership from 209 to 243, that was 34 Platinum, 12 Gold and 4 Bronze, a 25% increase.
