mslDirect; Tom graduated with a B.S. in Business from Slippery Rock University in 1983. Tom has worked in the print and mail industry for over 20 years. Starting with Wallace Computer services, where he as an account executive for over nine years and managed accounts such as Duquesne University, Aristech Chemical, Calgon Corporation and Equitable Resources. After leaving Wallace, Tom joined Communifax Corporation in 1996 as an account executive where he managed a large number of direct mail accounts. The direct mail arena intrigued him so much that he switched industries and joined on with Midwest Direct in 1999 as a presort direct mail expert, selling to accounts such as the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC, & Fed Ex Ground just to name a few. Bill and Tom’s backgrounds are so similar and have mirrored each other that Tom came to work with Bill at MSL in 2001 in his current capacity. The two have been life long friends and confidents both personally and professionally. Bill McHugh – President of mslDirect Inc.; 1985graduate of IUP with a B.S. in Marketing. Bill has worked for one of the nation’s largest print and fulfillment providers in the industry formerly known as Wallace Computer Services and better known today as RR Donnelly. As an employee for 10 years, Bill’s 4 main accounts were PNC Bank, Bayer Corporation, University of Pittsburgh and Fairmont Supply. Bill won several awards for his creative approach and was a
Bill joined Communifax, an up-and-coming ad agency and with his large account experience he landed Dick’s Clothing and Sporting Goods. He was rewarded with a 3 year contract just when they were relocating to Pittsburgh in the mid 1990′s. Bill was responsible for handling all grand openings for Dick’s who at the time had 24 stores. When Bill left Communifax, Dick’s had 100+ locations. As an account manager his main responsibility was to build a loyalty program and manage all of their print. The loyalty program is still in place today with over one million members, it is better known as the “Scorecard” program. He later took on the roll of Vice President, in charge of marketing and new business development. In 1996 Bill started MSL with his wife (of 23 years,) Amy. Bill named the company after his 3 sons, Matt, Sean and Luke, thus the name … MSL. His desire to own his own business developed more out of wanting to spend more time raising his young family and be closer to home. He resides in the Export and his business is in Murrysville PA. Currently his two older sons Matt and Sean are in college and his youngest son Luke will be a Junior @ Franklin Regional. His wife Amy is pursuing her profession as a teacher.

Cathy Wayman – Project Manager mslDirect Inc; Cathy has worked within the printing and fixtures industry for over 29 years. She worked many years for a point of purchase display manufacturer. Her background has always been on the production side, focusing on client communications. At MSL we pride ourselves on attention to detail and giving our customers excellent service. Cathy works to assure solutions delivered are tailored to meet and exceed customer goals
Mike Mento is our Marketing Services Manager. Mike has been working with the company for 2 years now, specializing in graphic design, web development and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Karina Marciano is the accountant for MSL Direct, Inc. Karina holds a B.S. Degree from Saint Vincent College in Accounting. Karina’s work experience includes that of financial statement preparation and analysis for a public company headquartered in Pittsburgh , PA , credit analysis and reporting for a large financial institution based in Indiana, PA and accounting services for retail clients at Duncan Financial Group, LLC located in Irwin , PA. Karina resides in Manor, PA and is married to Tony Marciano, a tax partner with Duncan Financial Group, LLC. Karina and Tony have 3 children – Grace, Tyler and Luke. Outside of her working career and that of a full-time mother, Karina enjoys various activities including that of home parties with friends and acquaintances, activities with the children and is a true fitness enthusiast.
